So basically I've got an kraken x40 and it is really good at cooling my Fx 8350 @ 5ishGhz but it just doesn't look that cool so I want to build an completely custom loop but I'm not sure if the parts I have picked are compatible so basically I want you to tell me if it works or tell me to change anything, I'm a complete noob at custom cooling.

Thanks

Parts:

EK-Supremacy MX WaterBlock  https://www.scan.co.uk/products/ek-supremacy-mx-amd-waterblock-copper-base-designed-for-amd-socket-939-754-940-f-c32-am2-plus-am3-pl

EX240 120mm Radiator https://www.overclockers.co.uk/xspc-ex240-120mm-radiator-black-wc-084-xs.html

EK G1/4 Threads (Buying 6, Extra 15% off if you buy 5 or more) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EK-G1-4-Male-Thread-HDC-Fitting-12mm-OD-Nickel-/401026127246?hash=item5d5f05158e:g:vAAAAOSwZ1lWcq-K

PETG Tubing (12mm) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Barrow-2-x-Clear-PETG-Tubes-500-mm-Tube-Size-OD-12mm-14mm-16mm-For-watercooling-/171971887629?var=&hash=item280a52c20d:m:mmq2x1mQ9IR0quwhlJg7B_g

Distilled water and Mayhems Dye https://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/coolers-water/cooling-fluid

And I will buy everything else later such as the silicon insert extra fans and fan splitters, the cheap stuff.

I thought about using a Kit and buying Hardline compression fittings and some PETG tubes but EKs kits are to expensive and Alphacools kits are all bay reservoir and I want to get a nzxt h440 and the h440 doesn't have any drive bays.

I was using this from EKs Website https://www.ekwb.com/solutions/custom-loop/#needed-components

Hope You Can Help. :-)

you need  a tower res in the H440

and EK's kits are actually alittle cheaper then if you were to get everything separate last time i checked

don't forget you're gonna need a heat source and a silicone insert to bend that PETG tubing

I would also probably think about a thicker radiator for some better cooling.

What fans are you grabbing? you're gonna need a controller or PWM splitter from a motherboard header

I already have a heat gun and getting some corsair fans. they have like interchangeable colour rings.

Not to rain on your parade, but you could have a nice i5 and motherboard for about the same amount as the loop and it will help performance much more. Then you could watercool that instead or just run it on air.

Tip to those that are new on LTT forum- quote a post so that the person you are quoting gets a notification, otherwise they'll have no idea that you did. You can also use a tag such as @Ryoutarou97 (replace my username with anyone's. You should get a dropdown after you type the "@")to send a notification, but quoting is preferable.

Feel free to PM me about absolutely anything be it tech, math, literature, etc. I'll try my best to help. I'm currently looking for a cheap used build for around $25 to set up as a home server if anyone is selling.

If you are a native speaker please use proper English if you can. Punctuation, capitalization, and spelling are as important to making your message readable as proper night theme formatting is.

My build is fully operational, but won't be posted until after I get a GPU in it and the case arted up.

Mum wont let me, I built my pc as my 14th Bday 'early present' this is for my 15th. anyway I think i5s are a waste of money. x99 is what I want to upgrade to.

Oh, alright. I'm not familiar with PETG tubing, so I can't really talk there. The rest of the parts should be fine. Still would not recommend a custom loop in this situation. What are your temps like now?Oh, and the rad you called a 120 is actually a 240. Make sure the dye has an anticorrosive and a biocide.
