Just noticed that on PC part picker New Egg is now listing prices in the Australian version. Not sure if this is a new thing that New Egg ships from Australian warehouses. Typical shipping is 12 AUD, so its definitely not shipping from the US. The prices are very good too :). Is this new?

Been like this for a few years now mate. Also, our selection is smaller and more expensive. We can't no longer use the US version.

Unlikely... I'm on AU.PCPartPicker almost 24/7 and only recently started noticing Newegg Australia added to the supplier pricing... :)

In terms of AU PC Part Picker listing NewEgg prices its definitely a new thing. Theres a subsection of NewEgg products that "ship from australia" that are competitive cf local Australian suppliers. Dont know how to filter the searches on the NewEgg site to find them as of yet though.

So what you're saying is that PC Part Picker decided when Newegg opened in Australia? No. This is old news, it happened quite a while ago.

So the fact PC Part Picker supports AU Newegg now is news?

As for PC PP supporting it, thats news, of a kind, hardly important. I knew NewEgg had Australian prices for a while, what the PC PP thing showed me was that now the shipping is actually reasonable, and I was under the impression that it ships from the US and was not reasonable/worth it. The idea of the thread is whether or not these shipping prices are a new thing, which I am asking, please read the OP. Sorry if it wasnt cleared up.

The second question is how do u filter the products so u can get that shipping vs shipping from US. Theres a type of delivery called Superegg Saver which is only available on some products it seems, but I dont know how to pre-select those products in the search.

Also "ship from Australia" is different from "Australian pricing". I was on NewEgg today and there was some subsection I got into that was "ship from Australia", not just the AU section of the score. These products had relatively cheap shipping (the Superegg Saver one)

This is what I am talking about, kind of. But these are just promotionals. There are products ive seen not on this page that have the cheaper shipping option as well, like the MSI Gtx 980 ti.

That's what I'm talking about. They've been doing this for a long time now.

Cool thanks for ur help, any ideas how to filter for that on the newegg site? I right now add each product into the cart and check the shipping price. International shipping makes newegg au pointless.

Depends on the product. Not all products are available from Australia.
