I've cooked my i7-4790K running 1.35V at 4.6GHz (don't ask me how, It was always under 50 degrees). Turns out that CPU side is working good (passes Intel CPU test 100%), but there's something with DDR controller - system did restart before and after POST a lot of times (now it's occasionally doing it) resetting BIOS settings. I can't boot to system with PCI-E GPU too.

My question is - what do I do with such CPU?

+1 for this- I'd do it.. Intel can afford it. However they probably won't take it if it's delidded, will they.

Well if you put the lid back on they will.

It doesn't seem to be dead.  Tye memory controller either works or it doesn't.  Try reseating the ram and clearing cmos.
