I love my mionix castor beyond anything I have ever used. Though I have heard that the G502 is super good as well and I plan on picking on of those up sometime in the future.

Logitech G303 if you want the best sensor. The shape can be difficult for some people though. G502 has the same sensor but is a lot heavier. Mionix Castor, Avior 7000 and Naos 7000 offer solid performance in a few different shapes. Zowie's whole line-up can be said to be excellent. Some other decent options would be Razer DeathAdder, SteelSeries Rival 300 and FinalMouse line-up (although a bit overpriced). CM Storm has some okay mice that are relatively cheap: Sentinel III, Alcor, Recon, Spawn & Xornet II.

If you want to narrow it down, you'd have to provide more specific information about what you want from a mouse (amount of buttons, grip style, lighting, weight preference, budget). All of the above are excellent for FPS games, however, just a matter of picking something with the features of you want and a shape your hand can agree with.

Well, if I had to pick the best, I would go with Zowie. I do like my Mionix Naos 7000, but it's not quite superior to my old Zowie EC1 Evo.

I own and use, sorted from newest to oldest: SteelSeries 6Gv2. Microsoft SideWinder X4. Mionix Naos 7000. Zowie EC1 Evo. Microsoft SideWinder X8. Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. Dell U2414H. Samsung P2270H. AKG K273 Pro. Sennheiser HD555. Razer Goliathus Speed Medium. Func 1030 L. Qpad CT Medium.

I used to own: Razer DeathAdder 3G. Razer Krait. IntelliMouse Optical 1.1. SteelSeries QcK.

The G502 is good, but I feel like it's a little heavy for an FPS mouse, so it's hard to pick up and move.

The G402 fixes these issues and is a good, light FPS mouse, but the Lift-Off distance is VERY high (this can be fixed though)

Also try the SteelSeries Rival, they make great mice, very simple, comfortable and no random buttons. (most professional gamers use this)

G502 is the heaviest mouse ive owned. SS rival is a popular choice.

I have my eyes on final mouse but need to look deeper into it before getting it.
