I was looking at your build. And all I can say is just don't. If you build this pc, you'll have to buy new everything when you want to upgrade. This is a far more expensive solution in the long run. This PC you're building is already outdated, and with new CPUs and GPUs around the corner, not only will it become even more outdated, but prices will probably drop.

The '$500 gaming PC' myth is a plague on the PCMR.

Linus proved that Dual Core processors are not ready for GTA V and other games

I hope you're not trying to play GTA5 on that build.

That 6 core AMD CPU performs about as well as a dual core in gaming performance.

You can't get a CPU that games with a decent GPU for $500. No matter what you're getting throwaway parts at that budget. If you get like $300 more max you can build a beast PC that will last you years all you'll have to do is drop in a new GPU every now and then.

At the lowest settings on a low resolution. Sure you can play it at nearly xbox 360 quality but is that what you really want? It seriously detracts from the experience when it looks/runs like shit. People might say graphics don't matter, but when the game looks like ass and plays like ass they matter.

Maybe it works. The point is your build is going to be outdated as soon as you build it. Make something else, something you came up with instead of making what your friend has.

here ya go assuming the version you have is 5.0 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4602&dl=1&RWD=0#driver

Also you can get a better case for about that price or a wee bit higher price...The case is not bad but there are better options...But if you already have it then that's fine, its not the end of the world (case can fit up to 11.60 inch gpu or 295mm, plus you can screw a 120mm fan to the side mesh :))

Don't call me a nerd, it makes me look slightly smarter than you
