Windows 10 Home or Pro?

So based upon searching I understand for the extra $40 I can get more stuff from Windows 10 Pro. Now I understand there won't be any gaming performance to be had when compared to Home, but I want to hear your thoughts on this

Do you prefer Windows 10 Home or Pro Editions? Please leave an explanation as to why you choose the edition.

Thanks in Advance. :)

The $30 I paid for Win10 Pro was due to some of the enterprise abilities, such as disabling updates, etc. etc. Most of it I will never use, but whatever.

For an extra $40 you get a version that is less handicapped than the other, like being able to choose when to install updates. Most notably you will have group policy editor, from where you can actually administer your computer, even if Microsoft doesn't want you to.

Here is the difference:

For a home user, it really comes down to:

 -> Differ upgrades (by 3 months). Basically all you have is a check box, and will differ all updates by 3 months, no way to pick the ones you want to delay or not. This is nice if you want a bit more control when Windows update are executed. Like you can check the box, and every week-end at the time you want, you manually do the updates, and not have Windows do them automatically. Or if you want max reliability, you are giving a 3 month delay on all updates, so if Microsoft puts an update and it screws up for some people, you are sure not to be one of them, as Microsoft will pull it, fix it and re-release it (rare, and unlucky).

 -> Hyper-V Virtual Machine

If you want a VM that runs on the back when you start your setup (once setup and you have an OS installed and all that), auto save states when you restart your computer to resume after, and you never know it is running on a day to day basis (expect the reduction in system resources for running it, of course), then it is an interesting one. This is interesting if you want to have your own little home server, or host under VM your own cloud system or something like that. Interesting also if you are a developers and want Windows platforms test environment that you want to test. Or run Windows 10 Mobile OS under it to test your universal apps, and such.

-> Remote Desktop Host. If you like Remote Desktop, this can be interesting. Or you can use many of the free solutions although easier to connect and setup for many of them, they are usually not as good.
