The real winners are still the 290/x.

290 All the way, it can max out any game 1080p and medium at most games at 4k. and with AMDs virtual super resolution (vsr) you can play at 4k on a 1080p monitor which will vastly make your games look better but at the sacrifice of some framerate.

It really can't max out any game at 1080p, as I know from experience. You can endorse a product without exaggerating its benefits, you know.

I also own a 290 (as you can see from my signature) and any game I have played so far in the 3ish months I have owned it, it maxed out completely.

Cool. It's still not right to say that it can max out any game at 1080p, though. Go and play Phantom Pain, Fallout 4, AC Syndicate and The Witcher 3 for representative examples.

ok, The 290 can max out 90% of games out there at the moment.

Not really. If you want 144 fps for your monitor with g sync it is so worth it
