Best System for CS:GO at 4:3 Stretched

MoInMo

Hey guys, I am looking to build a system to play CSGO at 144fps or over because of my 144hz monitor, and I am going to reuse the 3930k from my last pc. What graphics card should I get to run CS at those settings at that fps?

To be safe a 380/370x. It will do something along the lines of 350fps, i personally like to have at least 250fps in csgo, so do many others.

My Rig: AMD Ryzen 5800x3D | Scythe Fuma 2 | RX6600XT Red Devil | B550M Steel Legend | Fury Renegade 32GB 3600MTs | 980 Pro Gen4 - RAID0 - Kingston A400 480GB x2 RAID1 - Seagate Barracuda 1TB x2 | Fractal Design Integra M 650W | InWin 103 | Mic. - SM57 | Headphones - Sony MDR-1A | Keyboard - Roccat Vulcan 100 AIMO | Mouse - Steelseries Rival 310 | Monitor - Dell S3422DWG

Could I get away with something lesser since I will not be playing at 1080p?

It really depends on how much fps you are looking to get, also at what settings. You can definetily get away with less.

CSGO is a easy to run game like I can run it at 100-150fps on my i7 4500u and 840m laptop depending on what map with all settings at highest (including AA) at 1080p, it's more of a CPU bound game while also being heavy on a single core.
