Is a GPU necessary for Photoshop?(mobile GPU)

I know it obviously would enhance the performance, but how much would a R7 M360 do? Would it be obsolete?

Would I have to step up to a 940M for it to matter?

I dont think its "Necessary" because the CPU does a lot of rendering and stuff. But it is recommended anyway

 

For example, a popular CPU bench-marking tool is the rendering one.
