Windows 10 installation impossible...

I have been trying to upgrade to windows 10 from yesterday. I am not sure what to do...

With windows update, it downloaded the windows, and when prepairig installation gets stuck on 23%.

Then when I restart it, It would prepair windows 10 installation 1/1 forever. - Fine. It did not work, I did a hard restart on my PC.

I then burned a DVD using windows 10 media tool from Microsoft. In the installation, Getting updates would get stuck on like 11-16% and stay there for hours. So i decided to just install it without updates. When the windows 10 installation starts it would crash the PC (blue screen just like when you crash from unstable overclock) when it reaches 48%. I tried this with no GPU/CPU OC. Same thing.

Now im doing it with the recommended updates... let's see if that would do it...

1) use media creation tool to create a bootable windows 10 USB

2) boot from the USB, then format and install on your drive

make sure you have USB or other stuff unplugged from your PC while you install, except your mouse and keyboard

So if I boot my DVD from the bios, will it activate my windows 10?

i mean wtf what can go wrong repeatedly in a os install. i would contact the friendly/hot looking woman at the microsoft help chat center/whatever that is. doesn't sound like a hardware issue, it's gotta be the software. im not saying that you would get any help from microsoft support, but at least they'll talk to you

I don't think calling MS would solve it.

Do you have any solution to a crashing system to just an os install? It doesnt work with the dvd launch from the bios...

All you need is to back up all your data and clean install Windows 10. Just boot from the usb stick that you've created. When it ask for product key enter your windows 7 product key, if you are using 8/8.1 then click I don't have a product key.
