No... but why are my tabs lagging when I switch? It doesn't make any sense at all since my RAM usage isn't even above 50%

Im not sure, I would research it just now, but im in my computing class and should probably get some work done now, all I can think is that there may be a hidden program running in the backround causing you to slow down, other wise just re-install Chrome thats about all ive got.

Doubt it i used to run that on an old PC, never had an issue with it before, it could be though...

It could be either the processor is too old and cannot switch between them so fast, or it could be the GFX lagging behind and causing a slowdown.

Try disabling or enabling (the opposite of your setting) hardware acceleration.

Every so often Chrome will have a hissy fit and have 10 instances of the program running in the background. Start Task Manager and see how many chrome.exe instances are open.
