I have a slight problem with something in my computer and im guessing its the GPU thats to blame, i sometimes after haiving my computer on for a coupple of hours playing games, watching youtube, ect.. it crashes under high load, or rather freezes and i have to flip the PSU switch to turn it off. its usiually whilst playing CS:GO for a couple of hours but i think that CS:GO wouldent be a problem at all for my rig so im suspecting temperatures as the culprit but that also seems wierd, yes i have a pretty hefty overclock but really it has never gone above 65C running hours of Furmark so why would this be a problem?... here is a more detailed description of what hapaned last time: I was playing some CS:GO casual, everything was normal and then i got shot and BAM screen goes black, sound keeps playing but both screens are frozen, CPU was at about 65% use if i remember right and i dont monitor my GPU i just have activity manager open because i like to see the pretty graphs and see how much my internet is currently dying and that stuff but i never have HWMonitor or Afterburner open because i have spotify running taking up most of my second screen.

Computer Specs:

CPU: I5 4690K @ stock for now

GPU: Gigabyre G1 GTX970 Gaming @ 1629MHz core and 3605MHz memory(both taken from vally benchmark)

CPU Cooler:BeQuiet  ShadowRock 2

RAM: 16GB(2x8GB) 1866MHz HyperX Red

PSU: EVGA 650W Supernova

Hope someone knows whats up with this because its not something i can really replicate, its kind of random, the ongly thing every crash has in comon is that i was doing something else/ nothing then started CS:GO played for about 45min -1h and then game goes blackish blue and screens freeze and i have to flip the PSU switch :/ thanks for any replies and any help i can get with this :)

It's most likely your overclock. Just because temps are in check doesn't mean it's stable. Real world applications are a better indicator of stability. Try without the overclock

For something like CS GO you don't even need to run overclocked to have an enjoyable experience. Jus disable it all together in Afterburner or whatever utility you use, and if that solves it, then start retesting your overclock. An OC is never glorious if it causes your PC to crash lol
