Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 upgrade?

Blucyrik

Hey guys, didn't know whether to post this in "Programming" or "Programs, Apps, and Websites" section.

Anyway, for my game design class I'm taking in college I was docked points on an assignment for using an older version of VS (kinda bullshit if you ask me) but does anyone know if there's some "upgrade" offer to get VS Pro 2015 or equivalent at a discounted price since I already purchased VS Ultimate 2012 a few years ago? I know Adobe did something similar with Creative Suite versions back in the day so I just wanted to be sure. If not this isn't really an issue, as I can just use the Community version of VS. Thanks!

If you're in an accredited school you should be able to get it for free via Dreamspark.

I think the suite is free regardless, though.
