i have a $15 steam gift card and gta V is on sale for $40 can i pay $15 with the steam gift card then $25 with money or it doesnt work like that?

I'm kinda talking about when you have your steam account linked to your  bank account or paypal then a steam sale comes on and you just buy out cause hell that sale isn't going to come back in weeks...
