I don't have Teflon tape, any replacement tape, I have duct take and double sided tape (I used double sided tape to mount my SSD).

go to lowes, home depot, or even walmart, and get some GOD DAMN TEFLON TAPE

really though, teflon tape is made to waterproof threading

its what plumbers actually use

My toilet was leaking this morning, no joke, there was water everywhere this morning, and we cleaned the water. What to do? Help plz.

this is probably a bad place to ask about your shitty situation

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

#1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.

#2. It's best to keep your mouth shut; and appear to be stupid, rather than open it and remove all doubt.

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.

turn off water to toilet

flush a couple times to try to get water out

unscrew pipe, which will let more water out

redo teflon tape on both ends, and caulk around where it attaches to the toilet itself, not where it attaches to the threads

im gonna say wait at least 6 hours for it to cure, but hopefully teflon tape will take care of it
