I have the MSI 390x. It was fine at stock. Getting only 72c at stock(390 should be a bit cooler) and 50% fan speed which made it super quiet. However, overclocked with +81mv, it got up to 87c and 100% fan speed which made it unbearable. So not the best for overclocking. Also, the cooler has trouble with tight spots and crossfire, if you plan on crossfire at all you'll need to upgrade to liquid cooling. I'd recommend the Sapphire 390. Seems to be the best cooling wise

I would get an msi because i've heard people are getting better overclocks on it in general. But I have a Powercolor one and im not unhappy with it by any means. Although its not exactly a good overclocker. Core voltage is at +94 and power limit is at 35 % but i OC'ed it an extra 125 mhz and have the memory at 1650 mhz. Temps are generally very nice with the card, but Idle is at ~60C because the fans don't run unless you put a custom fan curve or you go under load.

Sapphire if it fits your case, has the best cooling among them all.

MSI if the above doesn't fit your case and you have a red color theme.

XFX if you plan to watercool the GPU (EK has full cover block for it), I don't recommend it if you will just air cool it since they don't actively cool the VRMs.

MSI seems pretty hot from what I keep seeing on here.

I have XFX and I'm happy with it - doesn't OC too well, but there's enough meat on the bones for me. My card maxes temperature no higher than 74C with the OC (@100% fan speed).

I wouldn't wait to replace the power supply. Get it 1st or at the same time. If anything happens, you'll be out of a whole lot more money than you intended to save by taking shortcuts.

Interesting, can post pictures? I planning to try remove my card shroud and strap 2x 120mm high static pressure fan on it but not really sure how to do it. :P
