AMD Athlon X4 860K with a GTX 950

or

Intel Core i3-4170/6100 with a GTX 750Ti

Not looking to upgrade in the future. Only game I play is CS:GO. Which of the two pairs would offer better day-to-day performance and better framerates in CS:GO (1024x768, medium to high settings)?

Philippines. PHP 20,000 so that would be like 400 USD, only if the prices here weren't so grossly over-inflated. So 300-350 USD.

Well depending on how much higher the 380 is compared to the 950 you'd be best off saving up for the 860K + 380, otherwise I suppose you could just get the 950 and be fine for 1080p.

At a resolution of 1024x768, the Athlon 860k + GTX 950 should offer 60 FPS or slightly more at high settings. I am not familiar with i3 CPUs, so I shall not venture out of my cave in that aspect. The GTX 950 is way better than the 750ti though for sure.

My legit rig:

CPU: i5 6600k GPU: Asus Strix 1070 RAM: 16 GB of Corsair LPX CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 Motherboard:  Asus Z170I Pro Gaming Storage: Adata Sp550 120 GB and WD Black 3 TB Case: NZXT Manta Power Supply: EVGA 550 GS Monitors: 2 LG 25UM58-P Ultrawides Keyboard: Cooler Master Quickfire Rapid-i Mouse: Logitech G502 RGB

If you're going to play at that resolution you're best off buy like an A8 7600 + high speed RAM, and upgrading your display to a 1080p display, because that'll just be infinitly better for daily use.
