Opinion on CS:GO Pistols

I used to like the CZ but its low kill reward makes it very unappealing on pistol rounds. I used to use it to camp B site while/if terrorists rush and kill one or two then grab their pistols. Doesn't work when they decide to go A though. I have it in my loadout instead of the Five-seven though because I don't like the Five-seven's inaccuracy and low damage.

what needs to be done is movement penalties. you can't shoot while running, you can't jump and shoot, you should get tagged and slowed down when hit by pistols. 

The overarching problem with pistols is whether or not you are balancing them for the pistol round, or general play. For the pistol round, that works fine; but movement is paramount when facing rifles, as it is the main advantage a pistol user has.  A balance is required, perhaps making the $500 pistols good at moving, and the free ones not, encouraging more people to buy the $500 pistols and no armour.

So you want pistols to be an inferior weapon in every single way? Ok then, R.I.P. all armour pistol buys and any chance for ecos to win. Just because they are cheap they shouldn't be horrendous.

yes. that's how it should be actually. You should only be able to win pistol rounds by completely outskilling your opponents, which includes movement. Eco forces shouldn't give you 40% of winning the round while also reducing your skillcap by 99% since you can run and spam.

Don't get deagle

 

When you have awp/scout then you already have a weapon to fight on longer distances, so there's just no point in getting deagle. 

 

Get tec9/5-7 imo. These two are amazing at close to mid range, which is when you should use pistol instead of awp/scout

Every round needs to be contested to some degree. If pistols are significantly nerfed, then every Eco round is just a waste of time, as the outcome is pretty much guaranteed unless your enemies are absolutely shit.

yup, however in counter strike run and gun shouldn't exist.

 

give pistols more precision instead when shooting controlled shots.
