Yet another HAF 932 water cooling build

This is not a build from the ground up per say. Its more of a transition from a AIO cpu cooler and stock video card air coolers to putting both the CPU and GPU's under a custom loop. This is also my first custom loop so go easy on me, still lots to learn.

Hardware:

  • Cooler Master HAF 932
  • Corsair HX 850 PSU
  • Asus P6X58-E WS
  • Core i7 920 @ 4.01ghz
  • 24gb (3x 8gb) Corsair Vengeance Black 1600 RAM
  • 2 EVGA geForce GTX 680 SC's in SLI
  • 4 1TB Western Digital Caviar Black Drives
  • Creative Sound Blaster Recon 3D PCIe
  • LG Blu-Ray Writer

Cooling:

  • Swiftech Apogee HD CPU Block
  • 2 XSPC Razor GTX 680 Full Cover Blocks
  • Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper Triple 120mm Radiator & Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Single 120mm Radiator
  • Swiftech Maelstrom Reservoir
  • Swiftech MP655-SE Pump
  • 12 Swiftech Lok-Seal 5/8th OD, 3/8th ID Black Compression Fittings, 2 Swiftech Lok-Seal 90 Degree Elbow Fittings, 2 Swiftech Lok-Seal 45 Degree Elbow Fittings and, 1 41mm to 65mm adjustable chrome SLI Lok-Seal Fitting
  • Tygon 3603 5/8th OD, 3/8th ID tubing (Yes I know of its leeching issue, going to replace it something different come system flush time).
  • Primochill PC PURE clear coolant

What the SE in MP655-SE allows the user to do. (I ended up also using a 90 degree elbow fitting on the inlet instead of the just the compression fitting)

What came in the boxes for my XSPC Razor blocks. I kept the plastic shielding on the blocks (until install) so to keep that nice brushed aluminum finish intact.

Ended up moving the compression fitting to the top connection instead of facing away from the block.

3 hours in to the leak testing with one of the heaviest "external" PSU's I have lol.

Also is it just me or was anyone else just a slight bit nervous when they switched on their first custom loop for the first time? I spent over 8 months researching and planing, the system passed its 24+ hour leak test with ZERO leaks but even then I just a little nervous when I pushed the power button for the first time.

Overall though I'm happy with the result, had a few leaks with some defective elbow fittings (they leaked where they swivelled >_> but the system passed its leak test after I replaced them (I did 30 hours + used an external PSU just to be safe), and the near silence of the system is golden.

Lol that mess is actually my sister's and thats just where I did the building and testing of my loop, My actual room is much cleaner :P
