Laptop for heavy work, stats analysis, multi tasking

 i am looking for a new laptop for work, i need a machine can give a good performance in multitasking, and a excellent performance for stats analysing. budget around 1000...or best for buck.

Dell's XPS series is good for work, SSD boot drive, nice and sleak, carbon fiber, light ect,

there is a rewiev of the xps 15 here on linustechtips where he list alot of problems with it and he would not recomend buying one.

I would get a lenovo thinkpad from the T/X/W/-series if I was you.
