asus maximus viii extreme/assembly

NVIDIA geforce gtx 980 ti

Vengeance LPX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz C16 Memory Kit (CMK16GX4M4A2666C16)

Intel Core i7-6700K

intel ssd 750 series 400gb

WD 2tb internal hard drive black

BitFenix Spectre PRO LED green (1-140mm/3-120mm)

 

I am building this pc for gaming, software devellopement and vr. Any tips or advice?

@LawrenceBarnes2013 my budget is around 3000$ to 3500$ (I have some moving room so I can go up to 4000$ if worth it). It's my first pc build so help will be appreciated.

First the location doesn't matter to me I can have everything shipped and it's fine. Second I thank u for your advice but I want something more powerful and I insist on silence (one of the reasons why I got the silent power supply). Also I can't decide on an X99 series or a ROG for my asus motherboard.
