This shit looks amazing. Such hype. Like just compare this to the last one. And the first mirrors edge was one of my favorite games ever.

I don't want to be a debbie downer here, but I really think this looks like crap.

 

Issue #1: Campaign looks extremely cringey dialogue wise and just the feel of the story they're trying to portray is sending me huge red flags

 

Issue #2: Faith looks 100% different to me, still looks semi-Asian, but they changed pretty much all her facial features.

 

The gameplay looks great(from the 5 seconds they showed), but the cutscenes/campaign really puts me off.

Think of it as an AAA action movie.
It's not a Metal Gear Solid, and don't expect too much from it. If you get that feel in your head that it's one of those games that try to be a movie, then it gets quite a lot easier to stomach.

Also it's DICE. You can't seriously expect a Witcher 3 Storywriting here
Remember, no expectations - no letdowns. Though that didn't work for Dewey.

I like the fact that it's on Frostbite. Considering the Battlefields track record, it will run good on any system, especially AMD.

I hope it doesn't end up sucking. 2014 and 2015 have been wonky, IMHO, and I hope 2016 wouldn't be as wonky as that.

I actually like those in-game engine cutscenes instead of the old "3 colored" ones. But her voice when she says I'm not broken is... huh? Sounds like different voice actors in one game? And are we gonna see some real martial arts combat? Because that's some Black Widow stuff right there.

I'm excited to see what mirrors edge 2 ends up being like.  Might even get me to finally get a new PC, liked the originality and unique experience of the first a lot.  In my mind if any game gets people to try VR it's going to be a crazy mirrors edge experience.
