H440 vs s340

I love both of these cases but I don't know what to get because of clearance 

min an American 

my are has 

a with of 13 6/16 in

a hight of 20 13/16 in 

and a depth of 19 1/16 in 

 

witch should I get

H440 will fit so will the s340 so it's up to you. Just a heads up, you may want to install some fans/vent holes in that cabinet as the PC may overheat if starved for fresh air.

What if I plan to do water cooling by later this year or next year

H440 might be a tight fit, but as for watercooling unless your planning on moving the rads outside of that cabinet it will get very hot in there. Ideally making some vent holes in the cabinet and possibly even adding some intakes to the cabinets would be a good idea.

If it isn't a structural problem, i'd cut the whole back piece out. However if it is a main portion of the desk's structure, cutting holes that line up with your exhaust vent would be your best bet.

If you want an external rad setup that could work, but you also want to make sure that everything else can still get fresh air for things like the motherboard VRM's and just general incidental airflow.

Yes that would be an option, if you could add a louvered or mesh to the door tho allow for airflow that could also be an option.

I would just leave the door open because the way I got this desk I wouldn't want to drill in it
