H440 will fit so will the s340 so it's up to you. Just a heads up, you may want to install some fans/vent holes in that cabinet as the PC may overheat if starved for fresh air.

H440 might be a tight fit, but as for watercooling unless your planning on moving the rads outside of that cabinet it will get very hot in there. Ideally making some vent holes in the cabinet and possibly even adding some intakes to the cabinets would be a good idea.

If it isn't a structural problem, i'd cut the whole back piece out. However if it is a main portion of the desk's structure, cutting holes that line up with your exhaust vent would be your best bet.

If you want an external rad setup that could work, but you also want to make sure that everything else can still get fresh air for things like the motherboard VRM's and just general incidental airflow.
