I am positive an app doesn't need to  be updated every other day and the dev notes just say bug fixes and improvements! Well that seems a little fishy when nothing changes and it says that every time. This happens with many apps but the biggest is snapchat. About an update every other day. Seems very fishy if you ask me. They are probably farming your meta data so they can get your face scans from using dumb filters.

The reason snapchat is updated so often, are because of all the "snap hack" apps that pop up on the store all the time, the ones that let you download photos from snapchat etc - they constantly have to issue security fixes and bug fixes

 

If you have an app that 1 BILLION people are using, it probably needs updating frequently

The only thing that would make a difference is that with the languages you posted you can screw up with memory management but it's unlikely that it requires daily updates, if your team does that many mistakes on memory management and your app leaks and crashes like shit you should probably fire them.

It can't screw up your computer, the worse it could happen is a memory leak.

Of course unless someone is making a malware but that's a different argument.
