Want to start writing and filming reviews.

I want to start writing and filming reviews, but am currently stuck deciding a few things. I thought why not ask the the folks who may watch my videos or read my reviews one day.  

I would like to know what it is that people like to see in reviews, the types of reviews (informative, comedic, a mix), and points that should be touched upon during the reviews. I want to eventually build some guides for me to follow when writing and filming these reviews.

 

What would you guys suggest?

The reviews I like all have similar styles

  • Slightly comedic
  • Quickly addresses the pro/cons to get it out the way
  • Overall short (some do unedited/full reviews but I usually just watch the short ver)

The big one for me

  • Has an actual opinion! Some reviews I watch I might not agree with (btw I usually watch them AFTER I see the movie lol) but if they make good points I like it regardless. Recent example, some reviews for Force Awakens called it mediocre. Some I felt did it just to get the views but others made genuine points that I respect.
