Hey guys, so I was browsing some benchmarks, to see how my laptop CPU performed in general and I fell upon this: AMD ENG SAMPLE (3d from the end)

If it really is this will be interesting. I dont know the credibility of Novabench I just found it and though to share.

I think it's probably more likely to be an upcoming/unnamed for some reason Opteron chip, but I could be wrong

Almost as cool as my temps

The interesting thing is that it scores higher than 5830K. Also it Starts with Z so that could be another indicator

It's going to have to have a lot of cores @ 2.1ghz to beat a haswell-E chip.

This would seem to be Zen... but without knowing how many cores, we can't really say anything about the value of the score.

If it's 16 cores, it's only a minor jump from the Opteron 6275 (Bulldozer) and is more likely a Piledriver Opteron chip.

UPDATE:

This is a benchmark results from 7/10/2014.

False alarm :-(
