My First Rig 1500

Prince_Twan

1500$USD budget (give or take 200 without monitor costs)

I want to build a gaming rig that will be able to play new AAA titles on max settings at 60fps, and in the future 4k gaming (even though that probably wont be max settings with great fps)

Looking at getting two Asus 1920x1080 23in monitor for rig at build. ( link http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vx238h )

Will need windows os.

Im upgrading because my current comp is extremely unworthy. Currently runs WoW on average of 12fps(lowest settings possible).

The two builds i have in mind are

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/PwfyjX ($1300)

and

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/vF6DGX ($1600)

but these are just builds two friends recommended to me. Will take completely new build if y'all can make something better. Help plz(:

$1600 build is flawless, and way better. Get an i5 4690k and save some money. From there, you can get a larger SSD or a 1-2TB hard drive.

No!! The 980 Ti has a significant improvement over the 980. The parts I've selected above are better, though, not by much.

with x2 980's (especially these ones) you can game at 1440p with no problems. overkill for 1080p though. for 1700 bucks, this is the most performance you'll get!

it doesn't get much better than this (below). squeezed everything together for under 1700

edit:

you should be okay with a 750w psu, but if you can afford an 850w, i would go with that just to be safe!!!
