I keep missing the Enter Bios Screen!

I have a Maximus VII Hero and a Corsair K70 motherboard..

I'm trying to access the BIOS but the keyboard doesn't turn on until a few seconds after the "enter bios" screen.

It was working earlier but now it doesn't.

The light on my Razer Deathadder however does always turns on in time for the Bios screen :P

Plug the keyboard into a different usb port. Or if your old school like me have a ps2 keyboard laying around for this very reason. Sometimes the usb polling sucks.

some motherboards have a feature called "fast boot" (my msi board has this)

it skips the bios pretty much.

you can turn this feature off with the program your mobo maker provides, but idk if yours has one

Disconnect any boot devices.. You'll go in to the BIOS immediately because there's nothing to boot in to.

True that, even quicker to just pull the CMOS battery.

Yeah but if you don't want to screw with your settings you're going to have a fun time with that.
