Games wont enter fullscreen mode.

I have this perisistent issue across multiple games, witcher 3, battlefield 4, bfh, need for speed rivals. I don't know what's causing it, sure I can play borderless mode but it doesn't really equate to the best performance as I get constant stutter, I managed to fix that in the witcher 3 by setting it to high priority in the task manager however this didn't work with the other games in which I have issues. bf4 is the main problem really, any help fixing this issue would be great. Thanks :)

Having this issue to, bf3 plays in windowed mode even when it set in fullscreen, same with bf4 and The Witcher 3 doesn't like my second screen running. GTA V doesn't like fullscreen either. Other older games run fine.

It started a couple of drivers ago.

I've tried it almost works then it just goes back to a windowed mode or just doesn't even load up at all with the witcher 3 anyway.

hmmm, a little annoying, is it a 970 specific problem or have other GPU's also had the issue?

I think I've worked out what it is, do you have DSR enabled in the nvidia control panel? I disabled it and now I can enter fullscreen mode the games.

no, but I am running a custom resolution refresh rate (normally 60hz, but i'm running at 75hz) in the control panel. Could possible be the issue, it was working fine before though.

Yeah I was running 65Hz on my monitor because it doesn't OC greatly but it's okay. I had 2x DSR factor enabled, when I disabled it, the games seemed to enter fullscreen mode.

damm, hopfully it does get fixed because a rather have a slightly higher refresh rate (it is noticeable) and play in windowed mode than play with my default refresh rate.
