NAS not detected via WIFI

Hackthesystem

Hello,

After a few years I decided to put my "old" LaCie Networkspace 2 back in use, I installed the LaCie Network Assistent on my laptop but Windows is not able to detect the NAS. The Lacie Network Manager however is able to detect the NAS but it is not able to make any changes or to bring the disks online. However, when I plug in my LAN cable into my laptop, it shows up in the explorer. But it completely dissapears from the Network Manager...

I do not want to have to plug in my LAN cable into my laptop everytime I want to acces my NAS as you can imagine...

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Greets,

Hackthesystem

Make sure you are not connected to "Guest" wireless on your router. Because it actually seperate from your lan. I also seen settings in my router suggesting you can actually do that to your normal wireless. The setting is called WLan Partition in my router. So anything like that will cause the LAN and WLAN connections to be separate.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
