There's little to no reason to get ram at that speed anyways.

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

It will help slightly in CPU intensive scenarios, and sometimes can help to increase minimum FPS in games.

But it's usually very annoying to OC RAM "properly"

Quite easy to just add a tiny bit of volts and change the multiplier though.

Pretty much this. Unless the things you do are extremely CPU intensive, it's not worth the effort to OC the RAM.

My ram runs at 2133 as of rn but this is the ram it go higher?

I thought your kit was a 3200Mhz set, or am I wrong, when you say overclock people assume you have a kit rated for 2133 an want to manually overclock, not something that is rated for higher through xmp, so what are you trying to do exactly?

Edit: Yep I was right, there is no harm in using xmp profiles if your moba supports the ram speed

But shoudent it be ruining at 3200 bc thats what its rated for?

Your laptop likely only supports up to 2133MHz RAM. Not atypical even for extremely high end laptops or even workstation laptops.

If you have a cpu with less cache then it could help. That's the reason i3s and especially Pentiums gained so much from ddr4

My rig:
CPU: i5 4690k 24/7 @4.4ghz (1.165v) Max 4.7ghz (1.325v) COOLER: NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO: Asus Z97-A   RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Tactical   GPU: EVGA GTX 970 SSC   PSU: EVGA GS 650W   CASE: NZXT Phantom 530 HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB + WD Black 2TB

My Xeon has 8MB L3 cache and moving to DDR3-2400 from DDR3-1600 has made a pretty noticeable impact in GTA V and Fallout 4 for me (I have't played any other games since getting the fast kit though). My minimum fps went up 9.5% in GTA V and 15% in Fallout 4 with the system in my sig (E3-1231v3 + GTX 970).
