Nvidia being dumb as usual, help please

Any ideas on why NCP and the option to fucking eject my 970 is on my taskbar? Newest drivers did this.

Here's where you can remove NCP from your notification tray, for whatever reason new drivers enabled this

Seems valid, could probably get nvidia or ms to fix that for some money.

How the fuck do I disable these from running in the first place? 

 

I don't want a permanent up arrow on my taskbar either, I am capable of right clicking my desktop to access NCP I don't need to be always running.

And why the fuck do I need the option to eject my GPU? This is just stupid...

Clicking it just disables and reenables it quickly, screen goes black for a second and it's still there.

It's actually retarded.

The amount of resources it takes up is probably extremely low if you're worried about that. I don't know how to actually turn it off. Sorry. 

 

I think you may just be overreacting here. It's just an arrow, and it's just an icon that you don't have to click. It's not doing anything harmful.

It's annoying clutter and I'm very particular.

There's also no reason for these to exist, and it's stupid that there's no way to disable them.

Why is a driver update adding stupid useless features/icons that can't be disabled?

no, I'm dead serious, after you pulled it out just plunge a 390 back in there and you're good to go
