If you want to use an usb mic, take a look at the AT2020 USB+

What exactly are you needing it for? I agree with @MalaCraft. Audio Technica 2020 USB+ is great. Really, any of the higher up Audio Technica condenser mics are going to be your best bet. I have a bunch of musician friends who swear by them for both vocals and instruments for an under-$200 solution. :)
