No. Just NO. Plain and simple, NO.

You have a Z97 motherboard, which is perfectly capable of overclocking 4-core i7, yet you run a bottom of the barrel G1820.

Now instead of upgrading your CPU to something better, you want to scrap your motherboard and get a Z170 (again, overclocking chipset) with a G4400, therefore wasting money on something that's not necessary.

If you have a tight budget, get a proper CPU, like i5-4460. It will do just fine. Otherwise you're wasting money.

upgrade the CPU to a i7 4790K

add a SSD like the Samsung 850 Evo

and get a better PSU for a better GPU

Yeah, and while we're at it, get a quad SLI Titan and 6 4k monitors... /s

Dude runs a G1820 and probably re-uses his old 160GB HDD. A reality check would be really recommended here.

Budget?

Just sounds like you should upgrade the CPU to a i5 4690K and grab a CPU cooler to go with it. You should also upgrade the PSU to something more...reliable.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

No, that's not worth it. Just buy a 4790k or 4690k depending on your needs.

If you can get more cash, I'd recommend i5-4690k. Also, you seem to have no GPU in there. Is that intentional?
