Dual Channel RAM Not Working

After a CPU Heatsink reinstallation, my ram wont run in dual-channel anymore. I am currently running my ram in different colors on the motherboard (Different channels) but this is not the fastest way. any ram running in the same color/channel will result in a boot loop, please help.

 

System:

CPU: Intel i7 4770K 3.5GHZ Non-Overclocked

GPU: GTX 770 Non-Overclocked

RAM: 2X Balistex 8GB DDR3

Motherboard: GAGABYTE GA-Z87-HD3

Windows 10

If you are seeing all your memory in odd channels and it was seated correctly before (matching colours) and you haven't modified any BIOS settings then you've probably damaged the RAM slot, but that is somewhat unlikely even for a novice PC user.

 

Restore your BIOS back to default, remove and reinsert your CMOS battery and move your memory back to it's original position, let me know how you go after that.
