It really depends on the games you are playing, I do know that AMD GPUs suffer on lower end CPUs significantly (stuttering) vs their Nvidia counterparts... but I am not so sure of the 960.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

You realize it barely uses 50% of my i5? rofl, you must be new

 

It's highly dependant on the IPC on the CPU as it barely uses anything so higher single thread results in better performance.

It might . If you haven't bought anything yet , i would get an x4 860k + gtx 960 ( i usually recommend an r9 380 , but due to the cpu overhead on amd drivers , the performance hit would actually make it weaker than a 960)

Both are pretty similar , i just can't really recommend FX parts because of their bad single core performance , but in some situation , it would be better

They are not CPU intensive, they just really really suck at using your Hardware. I barely get 30fps on Arma II DayZ with my rig, even though the game looks quite shit.

Im just wondering if a fx 6300 will bottleneck a 4gb 960

 

I don't know about bottlenecking, but it will provide a less stable frame rate than a modern i5. There's no really no excuse for buying any FX CPU now.
