4K on 2 970's

how well would 2 970's perform on 4K? say you had one 970 an wanted to get another one how well would it perform on 4K and will it be worth it? Thanks.

970 SLI compared to 980ti's

in gaming , remember that quite a lot of games wont take advantage of the second gpu, however, if the game supports sli, you would get decent fps

To be honest, you're better off trading the current 970 for a 980 Ti.

In games that don't take up all the vram you'd get nice fps. But in vram intense ones you'd pretty much die. I'd opt for a single 980ti and maybe sell the 970 you have.

If you ONLY want Nvidia, I'd save for a 980ti not in sli if you could, If not then go for a 390 or a 390x in crossfire because of the vram, in 4k you will need more vram.

I would get a 980 ti . You will hit the 3.5gb cap very quickly , and not all games support sli ( JC3 )

From their comments. It performs well, I wouldn't buy two at once but if you already have a 970 it's an option.
