CD-less, however have CD-keys

Is there a good way of obtaining old game files other than torrenting them? 

 

I have CoD 1, 2, and 4 that I have CD keys to, but no discs and obviously I could torrent the files, but I'd prefer to find a better way. 

 

Anybody have any ideas or advice?

 

I cannot activate them via steam because they are retail key versions and steam does not accept them.

You could probably find an un cracked torrented version. once you enter the CD key, you should be able to update the game play online

Torrenting is only way. Or finding place that has other .iso cd downloads. To note, torrenting non-cracked .iso is legal way to obtain it. I use that method for windows dvds all the time.
