We literally *know* nothing about it. As Nvidia doesn't have a problem with the games being produced we don't have to. Now if they figured out a way to have a card that doesn't need a cooler, or a high level card that can live off the power supplied by the PCi slot, then it's time to get excited.

We literally *know* nothing about it. As Nvidia doesn't have a problem with the games being produced we don't have to. Now if they figured out a way to have a card that doesn't need a cooler, or a high level card that can live off the power supplied by the PCi slot, then it's time to get excited.

Expect performance to increase at higher resolutions. Power usage and heat output should be down too. Also wouldn't be surprised if they're physically smaller . (I like big cards and I cannot lie)

- "Pascal is expected to hit the market during the first half of 2016"

- "it is expected to be released within the first half of 2016"

 

However this are all rumors... it could happen at any time (probably not in the next few days, but who knows)...

Stock? 1366mhz. It will overclock over 1500mhz but I haven't had a reason to do that yet.

Wow, mine boosted to 1379 on stock voltage and power limit.

I raised the power limit to max and it boosted to 1405

? I'm not making it up. Nvidia's roadmap lists it at Q2/Q3 2016 so that's where they intersect so I assume around the end of the summer. Polaris is scheduled for Q2 so I assume July-August.

Thank you, the only reason was my concern of if i did a mistanke buying my 980ti

I think a 980ti has lots of power and I think it will be a beast for a while. And if you really think the 980ti isn't enough anymore when the Pascal series comes out, you can still sell the 980ti. I don't think it would be to difficult to do so with a 980ti in late 2016 or beginning of 2017 ;D
