Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Not from this sale, just over the past year.

Yeah I saw it dipped as low as $145. I bought mine on November for $165 and a bonus 1600mhz Corsair Vengeance. But it's been the same pricing since.

Prices might drop even further once Samsung releases the 3rd generation of VNAND. I am waiting to purchase a few of the 4 TB 850 Pros. I only use the pros.

Now if only the $/GB of the 500GB model would trickle down to the cheaper models...

Which would mean a 250GB 850 evo would be $77.50, and a 120GB 850 evo would be $37.20 or so...

(155/500 for $/GB, multiply it by 120 or 250 and you get the above prices)

This is like walking in to Kohls and seeing all the 40-60% off signs. Its stupid thats their normal retail price, they just advertise MSRP to make people feel like its a deal.

And the stupidest thing of all is that time a few years ago when Kohls stopped marking things on sale and just sold it for the same price - they thought people would appreciate the honesty. They actually saw sales drop a very significant amount until they changed back to making things be "on sale"

Looking to buy GTX690, other multi-GPU cards, or single-slot graphics cards:

500/155 ~= $3.226/GB

Which would mean a 250GB 850 evo would be $77.50, and a 120GB 850 evo would be $37.20 or so...

I just want you to know your math is wrong. It's the inverse of what you did. I mean just look at your units, they don't match up.

its 155/500 for dollars per gig. so its 31 cents a gig, not 3.2 dollars.

far from the cheapest - just deceptive since the MSRP is still so high

I bought a 250gb and 500gb in October for $74 and $139 respectively

just have to keep an eye on it to see if it actually drops lower. it's been hovering in this area for a while now
