Hacintosh audio driver

AndrewZ

So I just finished installing OSX el capitan on my PC (don't judge I still have windows) and everything seems to be working except my audio.

My motherboard is MSI H87MG43.  I am using mutibeast to install the drivers.  Someone told me my mobo uses the ALC892 driver but that dd not work.  Can someone help me out.  The list of drivers that are available on multibeast:

Realtek ALCxxx:

ALC269 (BRIX only)

ALC283 (BRIX Pro and NUC only)

ALC885/889a

ALC887/888b legacy

ALC887/888b

ALC888 legacy
ALC 888
ALC889
ALC892 (the one my motherboard uses but did not work)
ALC898
ALC1150
Optional 3 port (5.1) audio
Optional HD 3000/HD 4000/HD 530 HDMI audio (My headphones are 3.5mm plugged into my mobo so I don't think this matters
Optional HD 4600 HDMI audio (My headphones are 3.5mm plugged into my mobo so I don't think this matters)
Universal:
VoodooHDA v2.8.6
VoodooHDA v2.8.7
VoodooHDA v2.8.8

It's a long list but I would be so happy if someone could help me get this thing to work.

It's a bit more complicated on El Capitan, you have to enable kext dev mode and disable system protection to load modified or custom kexts.

Head to Tony Mac X86, go to the post installation forum then audio and go to the Sound Not Working board. Follow those steps and ask them guys for help, they'll be able to help you out.
