I recently brought a Logitech G29, I already had Logitech gaming software installed as I have a Logitech G400s mouse I tried to use the Wheel but didn't work so I tried updating the software witch led me to some problems because of my motherboard but I managed to get it installed in the end by unplugging my DVD rewriter which was suggested on another forum. With the new software installed I tried to use my push to talk button on my mouse and it doesn't work I tried rebinding it I tried binding a different button and no luck and after all that my wheel still isn't showing up in the software either at this point I'd be happy to install the old software were my mouse worked and return the wheel however I can't seem to find the old software anywhere. So does anyone have any suggesting sorry I started to ramble but it's been a long night.

I'm using Windows 10 64 bit

6700k, Maximus ranger VIII, and a GTX 770.

If im not mistaken doesn't the wheel use a different a version of the gaming software than something like a Logitech mouse uses? I know its bit older but my Logitech driving force GT and joystick use completely (older looking) version. So did you have at some point ever have two different versions of "logitech gaming software" or did only ever have one installed and it would show either device?

I got out of breath even by reading this in my head. Firs full stop is on the third line and the second is on the fifth :P

Places like oldversion.com are a good place to start. It might also be a shout to contact Logitech's customer support as they might have a better idea of how the software actually works.

Here you go m8, your problem

It works perfectly fine on my computer, also rinning Windows 10 64.

im guessing the Driving Force GT software is just the same universal software that finds the wheel .... so i think you might be able to try the software from a DFGT? no?

This may sound stupid but alot of logitech gear that use usb 2.0 can not be plugged into usb 3.0 as it is know to cause a crap load of issues.

That and the fact that over the past year logitech have taken the approach of sticking there head in the sand and throwing up dust and calling it software.

Best bet is head over to the logitech forum and cry tears of pain as you read page after page after page of people having issues with all there software, and it is truely random, what is working for one person isnt working for another.
