This in a nutshell ^^

 

I mean if you like melted plastic on your extremely hot GPU that may damage it beyond use then go for it, but i would not lol.

PLA is out of question, and ABS starts to melt at about 80°C. So if you want to have a really good bond between them, go for it. Otherwise, not really a good idea.

When it comes to the model, you'd have to create it yourself. If you really want your own backplate, aluminum CNC is an option.
