That's as low as I'd recommend going so he either goes for a cheaper GPU or splurges on that

GPU WAS A GIFT FOR MY BIRTHDAY! I ALREADY HAVE IT. :( sorry for caps :P

With that system? Sure, also if you don't feel comfortable, the 650 W version is 4£ more in amazon

Just grab this one. It's good, has Japanese caps and is a correct wattage for your system load.

Or the G2, either one.

I'm not like watching videos atm, but seasonic's G series is good too, If you can get one for cheap then noice... One of my best selling PCs is an ITX system with a G360... And man... that PSU is lovely

How should i put PSU?

If you don't have sh*t in the ground nor a "hairy" carpet put the fan facing down so colder air gets in

okay

Gift or not treat it right. Pairing it with cheap components will have you disappointed in the performance.

Or will leave you with an awesome bonfire :P

My Lightning+computer under load uses 550W about but I have a mad overclock so it depends, I would go higher to be safe if you ever wanted to OC.

What's your exact budget for PSU?

Intel Core i7 7770K | 32 GB's Ram 3000MHz | GTX 1080 Ti | 250GB SSD | 3TB 7400 RPM | Sound Blaster Z | ASUS ROG MG278Q | Razer Blackwidow Chroma | Final Mouse 2015 | Blue Yeti | Seinheiser HD 600's | Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro | Aune T1 MK2

I like EVGA but Don knows more about PSUs than I do, listen to him.

My advice you should be listening to is to get an i7. That i5 will hold your 980ti back in some games. Hell, even my 4790k can hold my 980ti back in extreme cases. You want a balanced PC for best performance.
