Posted January 19, 2016 Hey all, when I startup Windows 10 my typing is incredibly slow for 30 seconds. All of my applications open quickly like they should, but my typing lags behind for some reason. I can type a whole sentence and it won't show for a few seconds, any ideas? I don't think it is my boot devices, they are pretty fast I have tried disabling these on startup: - Skype - Steam - Panda Antivirus Thanks! Here is a pic of my startup menu: // irenebb-pc v5 // [ღ] Intel i5-9400F [ღ] Radeon VII Lisa Su Edition [ღ] 24GB Crucial Ballistix [ღ] Acer ED323QUR (1440p/144hz) [ღ] Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/530179-slow-typing-on-windows-10-boot/ Share on other sites
 Posted January 19, 2016 Author is your mouse laggy too? what keyboard are you using? a logitech keyboard? (because youre running the logitech software, try to enable it on startup) is your ram working correctly? no, I'm using a Poker 3. I disabled the Logitech software too to troubleshoot, but it seems it wasn't the culprit (my mouse has the settings onboard so I kept it off) and yeah, it's error correcting so I'd hope it wouldn't be messing up. I also haven't noticed any ram issues elsewhere // irenebb-pc v5 // [ღ] Intel i5-9400F [ღ] Radeon VII Lisa Su Edition [ღ] 24GB Crucial Ballistix [ღ] Acer ED323QUR (1440p/144hz) [ღ] Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/530179-slow-typing-on-windows-10-boot/#findComment-7033733 Share on other sites
 I also haven't noticed any ram issues elsewhere then id update the chipset and usb drivers / try another usb port first, otherwise try to run hci memtest. (one instance per core / 1200 mb per instance if youre using on 12 cores and 16gb like in your signature) let it run for 150% each. report if there are any errors (this will take a while, like 30minutes, your pc gets laggy while running it, thats normal) you can also try to add some vcore or vccsa voltage (like 0.05v increasement) maybe its your IMC that has not enough voltage on startup IF YOU WANT ME TO REPLY TO YOU, QUOTE MY POST.
