Can you switch between Direct X 12 & Direct X 11 on Windows 10 Natively?

The topic title says it all, but keep reading for context.

Why I want to switch:

I own Programs and games that only work on Direct X 11 and 12 in installed on my Windows 10 PC.

Why I want a Native solution:
I would like a native solution because I find it hard to trust third party programs that mess around with the computers settings, especially these settings.

-Thanks!

That's not how it works.  If the game runs in directx 11 then your computer will use directx 11.

It depends on programs and games. If your program uses Direct X 11 then it will use that. if a game only works on DX12 then it'll also be fine and use whatever the game uses.

They use seperate independant runtime executable of Direct X and thus  probably different version.

I think only DX9 is not fully backwards compatible. Some games will have you install a DX9 runtime. 10, 11 and 12 however should all work with backwards compatibility. A system with DX12 should run DX 10, 11, and 12 without problems.
