Extension cables PSU

I was in the middle of building my pc when i found out that both the 8 pin and 24 pin wasn't long enough. So i'm thinking about buying 2 extension cables and was wondering if they affect the quality of the power delivered? Also does it matter what brand/quality extension you buy. I'm thinking of just buying a no name no sleeve extension cable from my local computer store, as i'm eager to finish the build. Would you guys recommend waiting and buying some quality extension cables? 

 

My psu is the Silverstone SFX ST45SF-G (80 + gold)

There isn't really an issue with using extensions, you can get full kits from Cable Mods or say individual ones from Bitfenix or Silverstone themselves.

Any noticable difference between cheap and premium ones performance wise?

As long as they are the proper sized wire, usually 18AWG then you won't have any issues, other than that possibly sleeve quality.

Thanks The ones i have found in my local area is without sleeving. Does that matter?

No it's mainly an aesthetics thing, if you don't have a window or don't care about the sleeve then they will also work.

It's for a Media server. So in my opinion it would be overkill to buy individually sleeved cables unless the power delivery is more stable.

If you don't care about sleeving and just need a solution that will work, that extension is good, it shouldn't affect power to the board in anyway really or have any difference to sleeved ones.
