Weird question.

Go to solution Solved by ThreePhaseLoad,

Three years ago I bought a netbook with Windows 8 on it. Under it is a sticker with the product key for windows. The thing is, now, I'm building a new PC and I kinda forgot to include OS in the budget. I was wondering if I could use the OS that laptop came with. How can I install Windows 8 there and also will they still work on my laptop? Oh and i don't know if that's legal or not...

The key on the netbook is an OEM key and is tied to that system. While possible to activate Windows on another system with that key it is technically illegal.
