I can't download using steam and a website

BadneckRedneck

Hello

Today I got this problem, my pc can't download anything on steam and I can't seem to download the installer for Guild Wars from the website. I can download from other websites and I tried to get the installer from my friend his pc, but when I launch that one, the download stays at 0 kB per second

If someone knows the solution, that would be helpfull

Thanks!

I assume you have enough space for it

I assume you have tried restarting your computer

Try changing your download server location

wait

Do you mean by "I tried to get the installer from my friend his pc" that you got a standalone installer that doesnt use steam, and it didnt work?

If so, then its not steam that is the problem

Well, steam AND a installer from a website that also won't download won't want to download anything, so I grabbed that file from his pc and tried that because I thought that it was a problem with the servers from that website, later I tried to download a game on steam that also won't start any download

do you have two harddrives in your computer?

Maybe the installer and steam is trying to install it to the full one

I have one 1tbHDD and it is not full, so that isn't the problem

If you have annother computer, you could try and download the game onto that computer, just to see if the router/internet provider is the problem here

That one also won't work, I'll try to restart the router and see if that fixes it

Restarting didn't fix the problem, I'm going to wait a night and see if that fixes it
