What is the least expensive Rasperri Pi capable of streaming GTA V  from my rig to another room?

It can't be done, steam in home streaming doesn't work on arm devices for now - in fact there is no version of steam that will install on a raspberry pi

i'm just gonna straight up suggest the raspberry pi 2 (they called it 2B for some reason...) because my pi 2 runs slightly overclocked, and it still needs to work pretty hard to have a good streaming experience, i dont see any of the other pi's do that.

 

should add: make sure your 750ti is capable of nvidia gamestream. with some voodoo you can turn your pi into an nvidia shield, which works decently well.

You can do it on Intel's compute stick or the dedicated Steam Link but only x86 will do it I'm afraid

i do it every so often, i dont use steam streaming tho.

theres a project on the pi that does the steam streaming thing trough nvidia gamestream. its quite rough around the edges, but works surprisingly well.

 

its become one more thing on my pile of reasons to keep buying nvidia.

i honestly dont know either, the thing jayztwocents plugged a while back where you could "rent a gaming pc in a datacenter" thing, he kinda mentioned the amd cards have lower latency or something, making me think they're clearly capable.

oh come on, it's just gpu encoding applied to the same principle steam streaming uses... they already have an (albeit experimental) shadowplay-like utility that pretty much does that already, all they need is to stream the generated video.
